Helena C, originally the Malcolm Miller, was built in steel to Lloyds 100A1 by John Lewis & Sons of Aberdeen, Scotland to a design of Camper & Nicholson and launched in 1968 as a sail training ship. She was fully rebuilt in England with interior design by Michael Jenkins and redelivered in 2004 as a charter / private pleasure ship. The guest accommodation is laid out as six double staterooms, of which the two aft staterooms can be converted to twin berths if preferred. There is crew accommodation for eight. Mechanical propulsion is by twin Perkins Sabre 185hp diesels, there are two generators, air conditioning and she has a bow thruster.
