Sapphire is a beautiful Blue Water cruising ketch designed by Ron Holland and built by Belliure Shipyard in Spain. it is MCA Compliant with a commercial registry. She has been an immensely succesful yacht, both privately and as a charter yacht. She has been well maintained by all her owners, with the current owner having spent over 600,000 Euros on upgrading her systems, repainting her, fitting new teak decks and much other new gear. He and his family have spent several weeks a year sailing her, both in the Mediterranean and West Indies and have enjoyed the experience so much that they have now purchased a larger version of Sapphire. She is therefore being offered on the market, seriously for sale , with a very good charter record. Sapphire has proved herself to be a comfortable and seaworthy yacht. She encountered winds of 50 knots whilst crossing the North Atlantic in march 2005 and proved to be a safe and reliable yacht under all circumstances.
