Ailsa J is a Warrior 38 built Trident Marine 1987 to the Bill Dixon design. She offers up to eight berths in four cabins. Mechanical propulsion is by Volvo Penta 2003TC diesel engine driving a Volvo 120S Sail drive. She has Teak laid decks and comes well equipped for ocean cruising having completed a world circumnavigation between 1995 and 2003 and a second transatlantic crossing in 2003 / 2004. She has SSB Radio and Hydrovane self steering. She has been laid up ashore since 2004. The hull was epoxied in 2007.
