The long keel and heavy displacement give a seakindly and well mannered performance and the lifting keel allows exploration of shallow waters. The yawl rig, with furling headsail, is practical and easy to handle with all control lines led aft to the cockpit. The cockpit is of ample size, deep and safe and the accommodation is simply laid out with full standing headroom and a separate heads aft.
