Mechanical Systems
Located under companionway steps, Volvo D1-20 18hp 3-cylinder diesel engine (new 2006). Freshwater cooled. Single lever controls with electric start. Volvo saildrive (new 2006) with Seahawk stainless steel folding propeller (new 2007). The engine and saildrive were installed new in 2006 with a new instrument panel, the propeller was upgraded in 2007 and a new plastic fuel tank was fitted in 2008.



2 x 12 volt sealed batteries (new 2002) with a total capacity of 170ah charged via alternator. 240v Shorepower system with Sterling Procharge 15amp intelligent battery charger, ring mains and immersion coil. Full interior lighting.

Construction
Built in 1980 by Verlvale Ltd. White GRP hull with blue sheer stripe. White GRP decks with painted non-slip surfaces. Encapsulated cast iron fin keel. Tiller steering to skeg hung rudder. Self draining cockpit. The hull was epoxy treated for preventative purposes in 1993 and the topsides resprayed professionally in 2003.



During her current ownership she has ben regularly maintained and upgraded to a high standard including a new engine and saildrive (2006), fuel (2008) and water (2006) tanks, calorifier (2003), keel cooled fridge (2006), windlass (2003), sails and electronics.
