Located abaft the companionway, Volvo MDII twin cylinder 28hp diesel engine. Electric start. Seawater cooled. Shaft drive to fixed pitvh three bladed propeller. Single lever control. The engine has been regularly m aintained and serviced.

Alternator charging to 2 x 12 volt batteries (2007). 240 volt shorepower.
Sails & Spars
Masthead rigged sloop. Oregon pine mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing mainsail. Hank-on headsails.

Construction
Built in 1960 by David Hillyard a design by Laurent Giles. White painted hull with varnished coamings. Carvel pitch pine planking on steamed oak frames. Copper fastened. Long keel with bilge plates. Lead ballast. Keel hung rudder. Tiller steering. Cruiser stern. Marine plywood decks with cream non-slip paint. Aft self draining cockpit. A 2007 survey is available for inspection. All items noted by surveyor have been completed by the owner.
