A true Blue Water Passagemaker - and an original - this Pan Oceanic 46', built in 1979 by Mao-Ta in Taiwan, capable of taking you anywhere. This very strong build and comfortable vessel is providing safety at sea even in the roughest conditions. Her distinctive design just turns heads where ever she goes. Easy and fun to sail for short handed crews. A boat built to suit a sailors needs far away from civilisation. Made for crossing Oceans with large diesel and water tanks and plenty of storage.
She's currently waiting in Croatia and ready to sail a second circumnavigation. Many electrical, plumbing, technical and cosmetic updates between 2005, '07/'08 and 2010. Additional information provided on request.

Mechanical
The Perkins 4-154 is in good condition and works like a clock. Just last year replaced feather plate between the engine and the Brog-Warner hydraulic transmission. 3-blade fixed prop, double set of RACOR fuel filters, 80A alternator (new 2008). The exact number of operation hours is unknown. These engines can be serviced every where in the world, run forever and is/got well maintained. There's a 1 cylinder aircooled Yanmar Genset aboard which requires some work.
Construction
The boat was build at Mao-Tai in Taiwan in 1979. Plans and design by naval architect Ted Brewer.
She's build out of solid fiberglass with Airex and/or Balsa core stringers. The deck is fiberglass with 1/2'' plywood core and Gel Coat finish. The house top is fiberglass with 1/2'' Balsa core. 11'500lbs. of lead pig ballast in the integral keel. The deck is jointed around the full perimeter of the hull with a teak rail.
The underwater area received a complete new treatment in 2008 and will get a new one in Spring
Equipment
The boat received massive upgrades over the past years. A lot of the enterior has been renovated like all new mattress with beige microfiber (like Alcantara), new Newport Dikinson Cabin Heater with hot water option, all lights LED or halogen, new PVC water piping throughout the boat, new hot water heater, new main sail (Lee Sails), Zodiac soft bottom 10' with 4hp Yamaha (2007), Air-X windgenerator (new 2008), 110watt solar panel (new 2009), new canvas for main and cockpit in 2008, new deck coating with fiberglass and gel coat, new SS life lines, 3 burner stove with oven Force 10 (new 2008), new folding table and instrument box in cockpit (all Teak in 2009), Force 10 BBQ on the stern, brand new 110V/2500W Freedom Marine Inverter/Charger
Spars and Sails
The keel stepped mast with double set of spreaders (replaced in 1988) is in good condition. The standing rigging is all 1x19 with Norseman Swage lock fittings. Babystay, lower shrouds and backstay is 7mm, headstay, upper- and intermediate stays are 10mm SS. The chain plates are mounted outside of the hull and are all fabricated stainless steel.
Sail inventory: 9oz-Northsails main 375 square feed, 10oz-Leesails main 390 square feed, 7oz-Northsails genua 548 square feed, 8oz-Topsails staysail 165 square feed, 8oz-Topsails yankee jib 200 square feed, 11oz-Topsails storm jib 126,5 square feed, 8oz-Topsails storm trysail 94 square feed, 10oz-Halsey storm trysail 125 square feed
All sails are used and in good condition. Lee main sail brand new 2008. Offer to replace all headsails with Lee incl. new Gennaker and larger yankee for 5'000
Navigation Equipment
A brand new Furuno 24sm Radar Model 1715, Interphase LCD sonar, Garmin GPS 152 plotter, Uniden VHF and a Compaq Laptop computer connected to a Nexus Server with slave instruments. All Nexus Pro instruments for wind, depht and steering at the helm, two Ritchie compass, custom build autopilot by Bomar and Navitech with Nexus tethered control, LED navigation lights.
Safety equipment
Hand held fire extinglisher 6 (all new 2008), Revere 4-person offshore liferaft (new 2007), set of flares and different signals, set of flags, horn, bell, search light, 4 automatic life wests (new 2009), 2 automatic bilge pumps with up to 7000gph in total, 2 manual bilge pumps,
